Preview: The Patriots looked sharp in a biog game against the Jets… but the question on everyone fans mind this week is: “Did the Patriots defense improve… or are the Jets simply that bad?”

Most rational fans seem to agree that it’s probably a combination of both, but the Patriots secondary will have their hands full this Sunday with Tomy Romo, Jason Witten, Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. The Patriots managed to neutralize Jets TE Dustin Keller, who torched them in 2010, so if they use a similar plan against Witten, they could have similar success… but it was an over-commitment to the running game and a lack of trust in Sanchez that put the Jets in a whole last weekend.

Bottom Line: The Cowboys are more than willing to let Romo sling the ball around, and if they get down early, he will. The question is: Can the Patriots defense pressure him into a mistake… or four?
